The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate

by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jr.

Presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

The theatre-loving ladies of Farndale Avenue want to put on a murder mystery play in the worst possible way.  This they do, in fact, as sets, lines, actors and the very plot itself fall apart at every turn.  Anyone who has ever suffered through a well-intentioned theatrical disaster will find plenty to laugh at – and sympathize with – as the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen struggle valiantly onstage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Mild innuendo

The ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society may be just about any age and type, as they all believe they can surely play any age or gender required.  They know little about proper stagecraft but are determined that the show must go on.
